Event Details
Each year on the first weekend of December the public comes to see the historic house and Community Center full of beautifully decorated trees and enter a raffle to win decorations and gifts offered on the trees.
We want our event to be all about community!

We would like to invite your organization to participate in this community tradition.
We are putting a community spin on a Festival of Trees tradition by offering nonprofit and community organizations an opportunity to share their missions with attendees. Last year’s trial run was a tremendous success, and we are excited to offer this opportunity again in 2026.
What We Provide:

A 6.5-foot pre-lit tree supplied by the Community Center, fully assembled and ready to decorate.
Your Organization’s Responsibilities:

Decorate the tree according to a theme of your choosing.

Provide raffle gifts beneath the tree, such as gift cards, event or class tickets, T-shirts, stickers, organizational merchandise, or other creative items.

Ensure all decorations and raffle items are in place by the conclusion of the decorating period.

All decorations and donated items will be included in the Festival of Trees raffle, with proceeds benefiting the Governor Hunt House Community Center. The possibilities are endless—creative trees capture the public’s attention and provide a fun way to showcase your organization.

Please feel free to place brochures, flyers, or other informational materials beneath your tree so attendees can learn more about your organization and its mission.
